HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-81-260 - 04/27/1981 - ESTABLISH ZONING DIST CLASS FOR NEWLY ANNEX PROPERORDINANCE NO. 0-81-260 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF TERRITORY NEWLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, LASALLE NATIONAL BANK, AS TRUSTEE UNDER A TRUST AGREEMENT dated December 5, 1975 and known as Trust No. 49711, is the record owner of the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the owners of said real estate have heretofore petitioned the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City that the premises herein- after described be classified as "R-3" Residence District under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City and the Preliminary Plat attached hereto and made a part hereof upon the annexation of said premises to the City; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held with regard to said zoning petition, following proper notice thereof and as a result of said hearing the City Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the City Council that, upon annexation to the City, the premises described be classified as "R-3" Residence District classification under the terms and provisions of the City Zoning Ordinance and Preliminary Plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1: That the following described real estate be and the same is hereby classified "R-3" Residence District in accordance with the Preliminary Plat and under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois: That part of Sections 3 and 4 in Township 44 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Section 3; thence East along the North line of said Section 3, to the center line of Crystal Lake Road; thence Southwesterly along said center line 348.00'; thence West parallel with the North line of said Section 4, 1165.18'; thence North perpendicular to the North line of said Section 4, 288.19' to said line of Section 4, thence East along said North line of said Section 4, 1042.78' to the point of beginning, all containing 8.3 acres, more or less, in McHenry County, Illinois. SECTION 2: All maps, plats, journals and other records, in- cluding the official City map of the corporate boundaries and the zoning district map of the City of McHenry be and the same are hereby amended to reflect the annexation and the zoning of the real estate as described in Section 1 hereinabove. SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 27th day of April , 1981.
