RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Patricia A. Lubben was hired as Records Supervisor for the City of McHenry
Police Department on May 28, 1985, and was promoted to Department Secretary on April 8, 1995;
and
WHEREAS, she has made every effort to provide the officers and Staff of the McHenry
Police Department with efficient, careful and conscientious assistance in carrying out the duties of
their position; and
WHEREAS, she has taken her responsibilities as Department Secretary seriously and has
performed her tasks and duties with diligence, loyalty, unselfishness, and professionalism; and
WHEREAS, she has served the City of McHenry with honesty, perspicacity, enthusiasm,
discipline and dedication, and has acted in all matters with the welfare of the City uppermost in her
mind and has tendered her resignation effective June 21, 2002; and
WHEREAS, she can look back with pride on her numerous contributions and
accomplishments while serving the City of McHenry Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of McHenry
go on record as recognizing the seventeen years of contributions and accomplishments of Patricia A.
Lubben and expresses its appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into the minutes of this
meeting and that a copy be presented to Patricia A. Lubben.
