Home My WebLink AboutOrdinances - O-80-238 - 09/03/1980 - ANNUAL TAX LEVY 1980-1981THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY ORDINANCE OF THE 0•80-238 CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1980, and ENDING APRIL 30, 1981 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of iMcHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, did on the 7th lay of July, 1980 pass the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the City for -the Fiscal year )eginning May 1, 1980 and ending April 30, 1981, the amount of which is ascertained to be the aggregate sum of NINE MILLION, EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY THREE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND NO TENTS (9,843,900.00) which said Appropriation Ordinance was duly published in pamphlet form on July 8, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That there be and is hereby levied upon all of the taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, subject to taxation for the year 1980, for the sum of NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNORED 3� 00/100 DOLLARS ($984,300.00 for the following specific purposes designated in said Appropriation Ordinance and in the respective sums as follows.
