HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-80-230 - 06/16/1980 - ADDED USES LOTS 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 AND 14 MEADOW L0-80-230 ORDINANCE WHEREAS: An Application was filed with the City of McHenry for additional permitted uses under the B-2 zoning classification for the following described real estate: Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Block 3 in Meadow Lane Subdivision, a Subdivision of part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 45 North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded July 29, 1947, as Document No. 203236, in Book 10 of Plats, page 64, in McHenry County, Illinois; and Pursuant to said Application, a public hearing was held before the City of McHenry Zoning Board of Appeals on the Application for Additional Permitted Uses under the existing B-2 zoning classification and after considering said Application and supporting information, said Zoning Board of Appeals recommended to the City Council the reclassification of the property from the B-2 zoning classification restricted to the use as a motel and restaurant to the B-1 zoning classification. The B-1 permitted uses shall specifically exclude the following permitted uses: A) Automobile Service Stations; B) Package Liquor Stores; C) Taverns; D) Outdoor Theaters; E) Dance Halls; F) Radio Broadcasting Stations; and G) Lodge Rooms; Fraternal Halls. The Zoning Board of Appeals further recommended that this property be developed as a single lot. Compliance having been made with all of the procedual re- quirements of the McHenry Zoning Ordinance applicable to amendments to zoning classifications; and The Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry having considered the findings and recommendations of the McHenry Zoning Board of Appeals. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, as follows: SECTION I: The Mayor and City Council hereby approve the reclassification of the property from the B-2 zoning classification restricted to the use as a motel and restaurant to the B-1 zoning classification. The B-1 permitted uses shall specifically exclude the following permitted uses: A) Automobile Service Stations; B) Package Liquor Stores; C) Taverns; D) Outdoor Theaters; E) Dance Halls; F) Radio Broadcasting Stations; and G) Lodge Rooms; Fraternal Halls. The Mayor and City Council further require that this property be developed as a single lot. SECTION 2: A zoning reclassification is hereby granted reclassifying the property from the B-2 zoning classification restricted to the use as a motel and restaurant to the B-1 zoning classification. The B-1 permitted uses shall specifically exclude the following permitted uses: A) Automobile Service Stations; B) Package Liquor Stores; C) Taverns; D) Outdoor Theaters; E) Dance Halls; F) Radio Broadcasting Stations; and G) Lodge Rooms; Fraternal Halls It is hereby required that this property be developed as a single lot. -2- SECTION 3: That all journals, maps and other records of the City of McHenry, Illinois, shall be changed accordingly. SECTION 4: That all ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. 7)1 Mayor of the City of McHenry ATTESST .
