AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED REAL ESTAmF
TO THE CITY OF McHENDY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, McHENRY STATE BANK, AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRUST
AGREEMENT DATED MAY 4, 1979, ALSO KNOWN AS TRUST #1782, is the
record owner of the real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, no electors reside on the real estate here-
inafter described; and
WHEREAS, McHENRY STATE BANK, AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRUST
AGREEMENT DATED APRIL 30, 1979, ALSO KNOWN AS TRUST #1767, is
the option purchaser of the real estate hereinafter described;
and
WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous to the exist-
ing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and is not
located within any other municipality: and McHENRY STATE BANK,
AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRUST AGREEMENT DATED MAY 4, 1979, ALSO KNOWN
AS TRUST #1782, and McHENRY STATE BANK, AS TRUSTEE UNDER TRTTST
AGREEMENT DATED APRIL 30, 1979, ALSO KNOWN AS TRUST #1767, desire
,annexation of said real estate and have petitioned the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois, in writing and under
oath, for annexation of said real estate: and
WHEREAS, Droner notice of the Drouosed annexation has
been given to all persons as reauired by the Statutes in such
cases made and provided; and
WHEREAS, notice has been given as required by Illinois
Statute to the Nunda Township Commissioner of uighways and Board of
Town Auditors; and
WHEREAS, the land to be annexed is not a part of any
Public Library District, and therefore statutory notice is not

required to be given to the Trustees of any Public Library
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION I: The following described real estate be
and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the
corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois, including
any and all portions of adjacent streets, roads, or highways
as required by law:
That part of Lot 2 of the North East quarter
of Section 2, Township 44 North, Range 8, East
of the 3rd P.M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said
Lot 2, 79.86 feet East of the North West Corner
thereof: thence East along said North line,
2570.54 feet, more or less, to the North East
Corner thereof: thence South along the East
line of said Lot 2, 1312.64 feet, more or less,
to the South East Corner thereof; thence West
along the South line of said Lot 2, 1694.31
feet, more or less, to the South East Corner
of a Tract of land conveyed to Robert Knox on
March 1, 1924, as recorded in Book 169 of Deeds,
page 258; thence North along the East line of
said Tract, 933.39 feet, to the North Fast
Corner thereof: thence 1,Test along_ the North
line of said Tract, 862.19 feet, more or less,
to a point being upon the center line of Public
Highway, that is 71.2 feet East of the North
West Corner of said Tract; thence North 379.2
feet more or less, along said center line to
the place of beginning, all in McHenry County,
Illinois.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause an accurate map of the real estate described and annexed
to be prepared or obtained, and when satisfied as to the accuracy
of said map, record the map and a certified copy of this Ordinance
in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois.
Following the recordation of this Ordinance and the map of the
real estate above described and annexed, a copy thereof shall be
filed in the Office of the Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in _full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
