AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS,
as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 18 of the "Municipal Code. the City of McHenry,
Illinois," be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following section as and for Section 18-48 thereof.
Section 18-48. Every member of the regular
police department is required to become an
active participant in the Police Pension
Fund of the City of McHenry. Illinois. im-
mediately upon being eligible to do.so.
Section 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof be and the same are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. The Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
PASSED THIS APRIL 3, 1978.
AYES: Bolger, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Rogers.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Schooley.
