BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, County of McHenry, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. Section VIII E3(c) of the Subdivision
Control Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
(c) Where abutting lots equal or exceed the
one-half acre area and are not required
to be improved with curb and gutters, the
paved portion of the right-of-way shall
be 32 feet in width. Such paved surfaces
shall be 2-1/2" double layer construction
with 10 inch base: 1-1/2" binder, 1"
surface, except that curb and gutter shall
be required in such location as where
the engineer for the City of McHenry
shall direct.
Section 2. All ordinances in conflict with the
terms and provisions hereof be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict only.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as required by law.
