AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ���/��
McHENRY, ILLINOIS (9-
WHEREAS, a Petition requesting annexation of the
territory 'hereinafter described has been filed with the City
jerk; and
{ WHEREAS, said Petition for Annexation was duly and
properly signed under oath by the McHenry State Bank as Trustee
under a Trust Agreement dated December 7, 1974, and known as
Trust No-. 723, as owner -of record of said real estate, by
William J. Bolger and Dolores Carol Bolger as owners of the
entire beneficial interest of said Trust and By IGathW,4ih _ Berg
as the only elector residing on said premises; and
WHEREAS, the territory .hereinafter described -is not part of
any Public Library District, Victoria -Avenue Is not a township -
road, and fire protection service -is not -furnished by the City
of McHenry, so -that notices are not required to be given to any
library district, fire protection -district or township road
district; and _
WHEREAS, the territory hereinafter described is not located
within the -corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous
-o the -City of McHenry, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities find that all steps and
,roceedings necessary for the purpose of authorising that the
said territory may be annexed have been comp]Led with; and
WHEREAS, the annexation of said territory would promote the
public welfare and common good, and is in the best interests
of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY,'ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 90 and 91 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision,
Fox River Addition, being a Subdivision of part of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 35 and the Northwest Quarter
of Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
recorded October 21, 1929 as Document No. 90215, in
Book 8 of Plats, page 2,-in McHenry County, Illinois,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part 'of 'the City
of McHenry, Illinois.
Section 2.--. That the boundary lines of the City of McHenry
be and they are hereby enlarged and extended to include within
the corporate boundaries the above -described territory.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance, together
with an accurate map of the territory hereby annexed, shall be
filed* with the Recorder of Deeds of McHenry County, Illinois.
