AN ORDINANCE 0- P/ t7-/ar
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of McHenry, Illinois, as follows%
Section 1. Section 39a of City of McHenry Ordinance
MC-48, commonly known as the Motor Vehicle and Traffic
Regulation Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following places at which the
parking of vehicles is prohibited:
(18) X16� Between an existing curb and gutter and
existing sidewalk on the same side of the street.
(17) Between an existing curb and gutter and
existing right-of-way boundary line on the same
side of the street, where there is no existing
sidewalk.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating
the provision of Section 1 of this Ordinance, shall be
fined not less than five dollars and not more than five
hundred dollars for each offense.
Section 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith, to the extent of such conflict,
be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law required.

McHenry, in the State and County aforesaid ("the City"),
and that I an the keeper of the minutes, journal of pro-
ceedings and other records of the Mayor and City Council
of the City.
I do further certify that on the 5th -day of
December , lg 77 , there was published in pamphlet
form, by authority of the City Council of the City, a
true, correct and complete copy of Ordinance No. 0-128
of the City providing for Prohibiting parking on tree banks
and that said ordinance as so published was on said date
readily available for public inspection and distribution,
in sufficient number, at my office as City Clerk located
in the City.
