AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE TO THE EXISTING CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY,
MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS TO ZONE THE REAL ESTATE ANNEXED
WHEREAS, the LA SALLE NATIONAL BANK, as Tru§tee under
the provisions of a Trust Agreement dated the 26th day of
December, 1968, and known as Trust No. 38545 is the record
owner of the real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous to the existing
corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois, and the LA SALLE NATIONAL BANK, as Trustee afore-
said, together with more than fifty-one (51%) percent of the
electors residing thereon, desire annexation of said real
estate and have petitioned the CORPORATE AUTHORITIES of the
City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois for annexation of
said real estate; and
WHEREAS, the CORPORATE AUTHORITIES for and on behalf of
the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, have hereto-
fore approved an Annexation Agreement bearing the date of
October 17, 1977, between itself and the LaSALLE NATIONAL
BANK, as Trustee under the provisions of a Trust Agreement
dated the 26th day of December, 1968, and known as Trust No.
38545 which provides in part for the annexation of said real
estate to the existing corporate limits of the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and for the automatic classi-
fication of the following described property to "R-1", SINGLE
FAMILY DISTRICT; and
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing before the McHenry
City Council was published in the MCHENRY PLAINDEALER, a
automatic zoning classification to "R-1", SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described real estate be
and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the
corporate limits of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois, including any and all portions of adjacent streets,
roads or highways as required by law:
The South one-half of the South one-half of Section 29,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois; ALSO: The North-
east Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30;
ALSO: The East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 30; ALSO: The West
Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 30, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby directed to
prepare an accurate map of the real estate described and
annexed and when satisfied as to the accuracy of said map,
record the map and a certified copy of this Ordinance in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds, McHenry County, Illinois.
Following the recordation of this Ordinance and the map of
the real estate above described and annexed, a copy thereof
shall be filed in the Office of the Clerk of McHenry County,
Illinois.
SECTION III: That the real estate hereinabove annexed
in Section I be and the same is hereby automatically classi-
fied "R-1", SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT under the provisions of
the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry.
SECTION IV: All maps, plats, journals and other
records, including the official city map of the corporate
and the zoning of the real estate as described in Sections
I and III hereinabove.
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be known as Ordi-
nance No. 0_122 and shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law..
PASSED by the Corporate Authorities of the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois and approved by me this
17 day of October , 1977.
