AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF
------ MCHENRY ZONING ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS as follows:

SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of McHenry, Illinois as passed, approved, and as subsequently amended
and now in effect and the Zoning Map for the City of McHenry,
Illinois adopted as a part of Zoning Ordinance are hereby zmended
to reclassify from 11R-2 ONE FAMILY DISTRICT to "B-1" COMMERCIAL
RETAIL DISTRICT the following described property, to -wit:
Lot 1 in Shady Crest Subdivision, a subdivision
of that part of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 45
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the Plat thereof recorded June 13,
1957 as Document No. 324222 in Book 13 of Plats, page 28,
in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: That such Amendment is made with the follow-
ing conditions and restrictions:
A. That there shall be no ingress or egress from
said property to said Bonner Drive.
B. That any exterior lighting shall be shaded or direct-
ed so as not to cast direct light on any adjoining
residential area.
C. That any perimeter of said area adjoining residential
property shall be screened with planted vegetation of
a minimum height of four feet.
SECTION_3: That such Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
is made pursuant to affirmative findings and affirmative recomnenda-
tions of all members of said Zoning Board of Appeals voting upon such
application, following proper application therefore, publication
of notice thereof, and public hearing thereon, all in accordance with
the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall be in effect from
and after its passage and approval acc rding to law.
