POLICE PENSION TAX ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
McHenry.. County of McHenry, Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1. A special tax is hereby imposed for the
purpose of the police pension fund upon all the taxable property
of the municipality at the rate on the dollar which will pro-
duce an amount which, when added to the deductions from the
salaries or wages of policemen, and receipts available from all
other sources specified in the Illinois Pension Code, will equal
a sum sufficient to meet the annual requirements of the police
pension fund of the City of McHenry, all in accordance with the
provisions of Section 3-125 of the Illinois Pension Code.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as required by
law.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet
form by an under the authority of the corporate authorities of
the City of McHenry, Illinois.
