MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY SERVICES & DISASTER AGENCY TAX RATE ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, COUNTY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A special tax is hereby imposed for the purpose of
emergency services and disaster agency expenses, upon all of the taxable
property in the City at the rate on the dollar which will equal a sum
sufficient to meet the cost of all emergency services and disaster agency
costs, all in accordance with the provisions of Section 8-8-8 of the
Illinois Municipal Code.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as required by law.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form
by and under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.
PASSED THIS 15th day of August, 1977.
AYES: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Smith, Adams, Schaedel, Schooley.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Nolan.
