ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY. ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, an application has been made to amend the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and such
Ordinance as amended, to effect the reclassification from "B-1"
Commercial Retail District to "B-3" Commercial District under the
said Ordinance, of the following described premises:
Lots 17 and 18 in Block 1 in Lakeland Park,
Unit No. 3, a Subdivision of part of the
East Half of the East Half of Section 28,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat
thereof recorded September 8, 1953 as
Document No. 269384, in Book 11 of Plats,
page 90, in McHenry County, Illinois.
AND, WHEREAS, the pertinent provision of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, and such Ordinance as amended,
have been complied with by the Petitioners,
AND, WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held bN
the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry and, as a
result of said hearing, the Zoning Board of Appeals has approved
and recommends the reclassification requested:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of McHenry, as follows:
The Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry,
and such Ordinance as amended, is hereby
further amended to provide that the herein -
above described premises be, and hereby are,
classified "B-3" Commercial District and
that the appropriate permit, or permits,
shall issue for such use when properly
requested.
The passage of this Ordinance was moved by ;_Atka b

vote being taken, the Mayor declared the motion passed.
Passed and approved this 15th day of November, 1976.
