AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY
OF McHENRY ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS as follows:
SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry,
Illinois as passed, approved, and as subsequently amended and now
in effect and the Zoning Map for the City of McHenry, Illinois
adopted as a part of Zoning Ordinance are hereby amended to
reclassify from "R-3A" SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO "B-1" COMMERCIAL
RETAIL DISTRICT the following described property, to -wit:
Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 in Block 1 in Lakeland
Park Unit No. 3, a subdivision of part of the East Half of
the East Half of Section 28, Township 45 North, Range 8 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
recorded September 8, 1953 as Document No. 269384 in Book 11 of
Plats, page 90, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: That such Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is
made pursuant to affirmative findings and affirmative recommendation
of all members of said Zoning Board of Appeals voting upon such
application, following proper application therefore, publication of
notice thereof, and public hearing thereon, all in accordance with
the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
