AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF Mc HENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. Paragraph E (2) of Section V of the Subdivision
Control Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, passed
and approved on the 17th day of April 1961, and as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2. In lieu of 1. above, the subdivider may post with
the City cash, an irrevocable letter of credit, negotiable
securities, or a surety bond running to the City, suffi-
cient to cover the full cost, including engineering, in-
spection, etc., plus ten (10) percent of said Improve-
ments as estimated by the City Engineer, to assure the
satisfactory installation of said improvements as out-
lined in Section VIII and contained on the approved plans
and specifications. If the subdivider posts a survey
bond it shall have good and sufficient surety therein
and be approved by the Mayor and City Council.
2. All Ordinances or parts thereof, in conflict with the
terms hereof be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as by law required.
