AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations
Ordinance of the City of McHenry, which was passed and approved
on June 15, 1970, and as amended, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following new section, which
shall be designated Section 50.1 of said Ordinance:
"SECTION 50.1. No motor vehicle of any class shall be
permitted to park on John Street between the West boundary
line of the McHenry Country Club premises and Green Street,
provided however, that parking shall be permitted on the
South side of John Street between the aforesaid points by
those person's residing there."
SECTION 2. All Ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict
with the terms and provisions of Section 1 hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating the
Provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Five
Dollars nor more than Five Hundred Dollars for each offense.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as
by law required.
