BE IT RE SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. That permission and license without any fee, be
and it is hereby given to the Combined Bicentennial Inter -
Service Club Council to sell beer only, at retail, in the
Pearl Street City Park, for consumption on said park premises
only, on July 3, 1976 from the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M. to
1:00 o'clock A.M. on July 4, 1976, and also to sell beer
only, at retail, in the Petersen City Park, for consumption
on said park premises only, on July 4, 1976 from the hour
Of 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.all in connection with and as
part of the Bicentennial activities in the City of McHenry.
2. That the aforesaid permission and license is granted
to the Combined Bicentennial Inter -Service Club Council on
the following terms and conditions:
(a) That prior to July 1, 1976, Combined Bicentennial
Inter -Service Club Council shall, at its own
expense, furnish the City of McHenry with a
certificate of Dram Shop insurance, with coverage
limits of $100,000-$300,000, insuring the City
against any and all dram shop claims for damages
that might arise in connection with said sale of
beer, and, in addition to such insurance, it shall
also hold the City completely harmless with respect
thereto.
(b) That the Combined Bicentennial Inter -Service Club
Council shall not permit any of the beer that is
purchased from it to be consumed off of the Park
premises.
(c) That the Combined Bicentennial Inter -Service Club
Council shall comply in all respects with the terms
and provisions of the Dram Shop Act relating to
licensing by the State of Illinois.
(d) That the Combined Bicentennial Inter -Service Club
Council shall, prior to July 1, 1976, furnish the
City with an acceptance of the foregoing terms and
conditions.
