ILLINOIS WHEREAS, an application has been made to amend the Zoning Ordi- nance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and such Ordinance as amended, to `1 effect the reclassification from "R-3" Single -Family District to "B-1" �I Commercial -Retail District, for the purpose of erecting an office building �I for professional and other use, as to the following described property: The North 132 feet of Block 1 (except the Easterly 14 feet thereof) in Wattle's Second Addition to McHenry, a Subdivision of part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded April 8, 1927 as Document No. 77644 in Book 5 of Plats, page 94, iii McHenry County, Illinois; Also the North 132 feet of that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying between said Block 1 of Wattles Second Addition aforesaid and State Highway No. 31, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Block 1; thence West on the Quarter Section line 97. 1 feet, more or less, to an intersection with the Easterly right-of-way line of said State Highway Route No. 31 (formerly known as Route No. 61); thence Northerly on said Easterly right-of-way line 1028. 05 feet to a point on the North line of said Block 1 of Wattle's Second Addition aforesaid, extending Westerly; thence Easterly on said extended North line of said Block 1, a distance of 25. 2 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said Block 1; thence Southeasterly on the Westerly line of said Block 1 a distance of 1030. 7 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, in McHenry County, Illinois. AND, WHEREAS, the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, and such Ordinance as amended, have been found to have been complied with by Petitioners, AND, WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry and, as a result of such hearing and viewing of exhibits thereat, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended the amendment sought by Petitioners. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry as follows: & KINNE RN[YS ELk STREET Mcn NRY: ILLINOIS - 1 - n The Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, and such Ordinance as amended, and the Official Zoning Map of the City of McHenry are hereby amended in such manner as to effect the classification of the hereinabove described premises as "B-1" Commercial -Retail -District,- and that the appropriate permit, or permits, shall issue for such use when properly requested. The passage of this Ordinance was moved by Alderman Datz , �I seconded by Alderman Harker and upon a vote being taken, the Mayor declared the motion passed. i 1� Passed and approved this 17th day of February, 1976.
