ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF MCHENRY
WHEREAS a Petition to Annex certain property
legally described as Parcel 1 in Exhibit A, which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, has been filed
with the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry;
and
WHEREAS said Petition has been -properly executed
by McHenry State Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 125, owner
of record, and by Charles Miller, Jerome Miller and Eugene
Miller, sole beneficiaries of said trust; and
WHEREAS the property legally described in Exhibit
A is contiguous to the City of McHenry and is not located
within the boundaries of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS proper notice of the proposed annexation
has been given to the McHenry Township Fire Protection
District and the Trustees thereof; and
WHEREAS annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A is in the best interests of the City of McHenry;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, COUNTY OF MCHENRY,•AS
FOLLOWS:
Section One.
The Mayor and City Council find as
facts the recitals set forth above.
Section Two. The property legally described as
Parcel 1 in Exhibit A be and is hereby annexed to the City
of McHenry pursuant to authority of Ill. Rev. Stat., ch. 24,
S 7-1-8 (1973) .
Section Three. Pursuant to the authority of Ill.
Rev. Stat., ch. 24, S 7-1-1 (1973) that portion of Ringwood
Road legally described as Parcel 2 in Exhibit A, be and is
hereby annexed to the City of McHenry.

Sect-on Four. The City Clerk is directed to file
in the office of the McHenry County Recorder a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of annexa-
tion showing the property annexed by this ordinance.
Section Five. This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
as provided by law.

Lot 7 of the County Clerk's Plat of the West half
of the Northeast quarter of Section 28, Township 45 North,
Range 8 East of the 3rd. P.M., also described as being the
North 907.5 feet of the West half of the Northeast quarter
of said section 28, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
3rd. P.M., in McHenry County, Illinois.
Parcel 2:
The East 40 feet of the North 907.5 feet of the
Northwest quarter of Section 28, Township 45 North, Range 8
East of the 3rd. P.M., in McHenry County, Illinois.
