Q' OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
MCHF.NRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a Petition requesting annexation of the
territory hereinafter described has been filed with the City
Clerk; and
F MRZEAS, all of the owners of record and all of . the
electors residing within the boundaries of the territory
hereinafter described signed said Petition requesting that
said land be annexed to the City of McHenry, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the territory hereinafter described is not
located within the cor-oorate limits of any municipality but
is contiguous to the City of McHenry, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities find that all steps
and proceedings necessary for the purpose of authorizing
that the said territory may be annexed have been complied
with; and
D.HEE I EAS , the annexation of said territory would promote
the public welfare and common good, and is in the best
interests of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFDa?., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF N.ch-ENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1 That the territory described as follows,

law.
