AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING A
CERTAIN 27+- ACRE TRACT LOCATED
EAST OF RINGWOOD ROAD NORTH OF
ROUTE 120
WHEREAS, Boone Valley Development Company, a
corporation, by its President, and McHenry State Bank, as
Trustee under Trust No. 125, and the beneficiaries thereof
filed a Petition seeking an Amendment to the Amended Zoning
Ordinance of the City of McHenry effecting the zoning of
the following described real estate:
Lot 7 of the County Clerk's Plat
of the West half of the Northeast quarter
of Section 28, Township 45 North, Range
8 East of the 3rd P.M., also described
as being the North 907.5 feet of the West
half of the Northeast quarter of said
Section 28, Township 45 North, Range 8
East of the 3rd P.M., in McHenry County,
Illinois.
amending the zoning classification of the subject property
from R-1, Article V, to R-3, Article VII, Single Family
District; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held before the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry after due notice
having been published in the McHenry Plaindealer on August
29, 1975, and served by certified mail on all land owners
abutting the property; and
WHEREAS, certain exhibits were received into
evidence, among which was the National Resources Inventory
Report of the McHenry County Soil and Water Conservation
District relative to the above described real estate; and
WHEREAS, witnesses were heard, objections stated
and filed, and arguments for and against the proposal were
submitted; and

WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
the granting of the Amendment sought from R=l, Article V,
to R-3, Article VII, Single Family District;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and
the Members of the City Council of the City of McHenry,
County of McHenry and State of Illinois, as follows:
Section One: The Amended Zoning Ordinance and
the Zoning Map of the City of McHenry, Illinois, are hereby
amended by reclassifying the following described property
from R-1, Article V, to R-3, Article VII, Single Family
District:
Lot 7 of the County Clerk's Plat
of the West half of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 28, Township 45 North, Range
8 East of the 3rd P.M., also described
as being the North 907.5 feet of the West
half of the Northeast quarter of said
Section 28, Township 45 North, Range 8
East of the 3rd P.M., in McHenry County,
Illinois.
Section Two: This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion in the manner provided by law.
Passed this 20th day of October, 1975.
