AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY
OF MCHENRY ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MC HENRY, ILLINOIS as follows:
SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois
as passed, approved, and as subsequently amended and now in effect and the
Zoning Map for the City of McHenry, Illinois adopted as a part of Zoning
Ordinance are hereby amended to reclassify from "R-2" ONE FAMILY Dâ–şSTRICT
to "B-1" COMMERCIAL RETAIL DISTRICT the following described property,
to -wit:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian described as follows: The East 54.3 feet of the West
154.3 feet, by parallel measure, as measured on the South line
thereof, of that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of said Section 27, described as beginning at the Southeast corner
of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence West
10. 19 chains to a stake; thence North to a point in the center line
of State Route 120 that is 697.62 feet Northwesterly as measured
along the center line of State Route 120; a distance of 10.57 chains
to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of said Section 27; thence Southerly along aforesaid East line of
the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Said Section 27,
to the point of beginning, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: That such Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is made
pursuant to affirmative findings and affirmative recommendation of a majority
of said Zoning Board of Appeals voting upon such application, following proper
application therefore, publication of notice thereof, and public hearing thereon
and a finding that the standards required to grant a reclassification have been
met, all in accordance with the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
