AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISION OF MH
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS
:JHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Zoning
jBoard of Appeals of the City of McHenry pursuant to proper auth-
jority and proper notice therefor having been effected through
publication as by statute provided; ancc
WHEREAS the said Zoning Board of Appeals heard and
Iconsidered evidence at said hearing in regard to the allegations
contained in said Petition; ant
WHEREAS as a result of said hearina the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the City of McHenry did make and deliver recommendation;
in regard tnereto to the City Council of the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS said Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of
McHenry did recommend the zoning reclassification requested of th-
real estate hereinafter described to the zoning classification
hereinafter indicated; and
WHEREAS the City Council has considered the content of
such recommendation;
N04 THEREFORE BE IT 01RDAINED by the City Council of the
City of mchenry as follows:
SECTION 1: That the Loning Ordinance of the City of
McHenry as passed and approved on the 12th day of March, 1962,
and such Ordinance as subsequently amended, be and is hereby
amended by reclassifying from "R-3" single family district
classification, to "B-1" commercial district, the following
described real estate:
Lot 1 in Block 2 in Lakeland Shores Unit #3,
being a subdivision of part of the North Half of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township
45 North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal
Meridian lying south of the center line of State
Route 120 accordina to the plat thereof recorded
April 24, 1958 as Doc. 337444 in Book 13 of Plats,
page 55 in McH enry County, Illinois, permanent
index No. 15-6016..1.E
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as by law provided.
