BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Police Commissioners be
and it is hereby empowered to act as a grievance board
with respect to grievances of those persons who are other-
wise subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Police
Commissioners of the City of McHenry.
SECTION 2. The Board of Police Commissioners be
and it is hereby empowered to establish and promulgate
a grievance precedure for those persons who are other-
wise subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Police
Commissioners of the City of McHenry; such grievance
procedures shall be established and promulgated as soon
as possible.
SECTION 3. A copy of the grievance procedures as
established and promulgated by the Board of Police Com-
missioners shall be provided to each person who is sub-
ject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Police Commission-
ers of the City of McHenry as soon as possible after such pro-
cedures are established and promulgated.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
