AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS as follows:
SECTION 1: That the Comprehensive Zonina Ordinance of the City
of McHenry, Illinois, as passed, approved and as subsequently
amended and as now now in effect, and the zoning map of the City
of McHenry, Illinois, adopted as a part of said Zoning Ordinance,
be and the same are hereby amended by reclassifyincT from "P.-l" Sinale
Family Residence District to "B-1" Commercial Retail District the
followinc+ described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 11 and 12 in Block 1 in Lakeland Park Unit No. 3, a
subdivision of part of the East Half of the East Half of
Section 28, Township 45 North, Rancte 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, accordincT to the Plat thereof recorded
September 8, 1953 as Document No. 269384 in Book 11 of
Plats, page 90, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: That such reclassification is made pursuant to
the affirmative findings and recorrmendation of the Zonina Board
of Appeals, following proper application therefore, publication
of notice thereof, and public hearing thereon, in accordance with
the provisions of said zoning ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
