AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the
City of McHenry, Illinois as passed, approved and as subsequently
amended and as now in effect, and the zoning map of the City of
McHenry, Illinois adopted as a part of said Zoning Ordinance, and
as amended, be and they are hereby amended as follows:
A. That the following described property be and the same is
hereby reclassified from "R-3" Single -Family District to "B-1"
Commercial Retail District:
Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 in Block
2, Lakeland Shores Unit No. 3, being a Subdivision of
the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying South of the center line of State Route
No. 120, according to the plat thereof, recorded April
25, 1958 as Document No. 337444, in Book 13 of Plats,
page 55, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: That such reclassification is made following hearing
before and the affirmative recommendation of the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the City of McHenry, following proper application therefor,
publication of notice thereof, and public hearing, all in accordance
with the provisions of said Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its p ssage and approval accordin o law.
