AN ORDINANCE
MENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, Illinois as passed, approved and as subsequently amended and as now
in effect, and the zoning map of the City of McHenry, Illinois adopted as a part of
said Zoning Ordinance, and as amended, be and they are hereby amended as
follows:
A. Lot 29 in Block 6 in A. P. Freund's Millstream Park Addition Unit No.
. is hereby reclassified to "B-1" Commercial -Retail District, and use may be
property
made of said/in conjunction with the marina operation (located on Lot 30) for the
passage and parking of cars, trucks, trailers, the launching of boats and the
service and repair of boats, motors and trailers.
B. Lot 28 (except the North 10 feet thereof) in Block 6 in A. P. Freund's
Millstream Park Addition Unit No. 1 is hereby granted a variation of its existing
"R-3" Single -Family Residence District classification for use in conjunction with
the operation of the marina (located on Lot 30), with such use confined to the
parking of automobiles and light trucks, and a steel chain link fence with slates
shall be erected on the North line of the Lot.
SECTION 2: That the full legal description of the foregoing property is as
follows:
Lots 28 and 29 in Block 6 in A. P. Freund's Millstream Park Addition
Unit No. 1, a Subdivision of part of the Southwest Quarter of Section
26, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the Plat thereof recorded April 19, 1949, as Document
No. 219945 in Book 10 of Plats, page 111, in McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 3: That such reclassification and variation are made following
hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry, following
roper application therefor, publication of notice thereof, and public hearing,
.tl in accordance with the provisions of said Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
