WHEREAS, the Plat of Subdivision recorded as Document
No. 97RO57772 for the McHenry Corporate Center provided in part
that direct access to Route 31 from Lot 1 of Unit 8 is prohibited;
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said lot have begun to prepare the
necessary documentation to present a Preliminary Plat and Final
Plat to the City of McHenry, thereby replatting Lot.1 of Unit 8 with
provision for a right in/right out as depicted on Exhibit 1, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation will
favorably consider the approval of said right in/right out access
only if the City of McHenry approves same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that if the owners of
the lot depicted in Exhibit 1 submit a Preliminary Plat or Final Plat
of Subdivision for replat of Lot 1, substantially similar to Exhibit 1
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, said
Preliminary Plat and Final Plat would be approved by the City
Council of the City of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of McHenry goes on record in support of right
in/right out access as depicted on Exhibit 1, and that a copy of this
resolution be provided to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
