E _T McHENRY, ILLINOIS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, AND SUCH ORDINANCE AS AMENDED, AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF McHENRY. AND SUCH MAP AS AMENDED WHEREAS, a public hearing was had before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry pursuant to authorization therefor by the City Council of the City of McHenry, and proper notice therefor havin€ been effected through publication has by statute provided, and; WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals did view and take evidence at said hearing in regard to the contents therefor, and; WHEREAS, as a result of said hearing the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry did make and deliver recommendations in regard thereto to the City Council of the City of McHenry, and; WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the content of such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of McHenry that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, as passed and approved on the 12th day of March, 1962, and such Ordinance as subsequently amended, be and hereby is amended as follows: 1. That the premises as described on Exhibit "A", commonly known as the McHenry Hospital property, attached hereto, and made a part hereof by this reference, are hereby given a special use permit for the conduct of a hospital operation. 2. The premises as described in Exhibit 11B", commonly known as the McHenry Medical Group property, attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, be and hereby are reclassified a•s "B-1" under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry. - 1 - LOOZE 'E ATTC 3437 W. ! 7 NcHENRY. ILLINOIS 3. Lot 10 in Block 25 as delineated in the Plat of the original town of McHenry west of Fox River is hereby given a special use designa- tion for the specific purpose of public parking of automotive vehicles. 4. Article V. "R-111 SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following: A.2. Churches, Synagogues, and any other place of religious worship. A.4. Country clubs. 5. That Article XV SPECIAL USES be and is hereby amended by adding thereto the following uses: Churches, Synagogues, and any other place of religious worship. Country clubs. 6. Article V. 11R- 11' SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT, is amended by deleting there- from the following: A. 8. Truck gardening and other horticultural uses, where no building is involved, and not operated for profit. And said Article is further amended by adding thereto the following: A. 8. Gardening and other horticultural uses which are not operated for pr of it. 7. Article IX. "B-111 COMMERCIAL RETAIL DISTRICT, is hereby amended by adding thereto as a permitted use, the following: (-t) Taverns 8. Article IX. "B-111 COMMERCIAL RETAIL DISTRICT, is amended by adding thereto as a permitted use the following: (-e) Delicatessen stores, with catering service, if any, only as incidental to the main use. - 2 - 9. Article XI. "B-311 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, is hereby amended to delete A. 17. in its entirety and be adding to said Article XI A. the following: 17. Plumbing, heating, electrical and roofing supply contractors, including the customary work shop. 10. Article XVI. OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING, is hereby amended by deleting therefrom A. 1. (1) Family Dwelling and Multiple Family Dwelling for one parking space for each dwelling unit. 11. Article XVI. OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING, is further amended by adding thereto the following: A. 1. (1) FAMILY DWELLING: (1) Parking space for each dwelling unit. 1. a. MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT: 11 Parking space for each dwelling unit. 12. It is further ordained that all heighth restrictions as contained within the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry, as passed and adopted on the 12th day of March, 1962, and as subsequently amended, be, and hereby are removed, except as to those regulations governing structures in the following classifications: Article V. "R-111 SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT Article VI. "R- 2" ONE -FAMILY DISTRICT (20, 000 square feet) Article VII. "R-3" SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT (10, 000 square feet) and all single-family residential units as established under a planned unit development. _OOZF ►`1E _ 3 AT il, 3431•W. EET 4cHENRY. ILLINOIS It was moved by Rogers and seconded by Pitzen that this Ordinance be adopted as hereinabove set forth and that it shall be in full force from and after its passage, approval and publication, as by statute provided.
