AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, a petition was heard by the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the City of McHenry, said petition being brought by MITCHELL
BYKOWSKI and LOTTIE BYKOWSKI, his wife, requesting a reclassification
of certain properties under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of McHenry, and such ordinance as amended, and;
WHEREAS, as a result of such hearing and of consideration
of the evidence advanced to the said Zoning Board of Appeals in regard to
said reclassification, a recommendation to amend the Zoning Ordinance
on a limited basis was forwarded to the City Council by the Zoning Board
of Appeals, and;
WHEREAS, it is the determination of the City Council that
the finding of the Zoning Board as to the prayer of the subject petition, and
as to the most beneficial use of the property concerned in the petition is
appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council
lof the City of McHenry that the following premises be hereinafter classified)
las "R-4" Multi -Family District, such multi -family use to be restricted to
the construction of a duplex residence;
Lot 13 and the West One -Half of Lot 14 in Block 3
of A. P. Freund's Mill Stream Park Addition Unit
No. 1, in the City of McHenry, Illinois.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
lafter its passage and approval, as by statute provided.
