RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Cherie Rickert was appointed to the City of McHenry Plan Commission on
June 3, 1998; and
WHEREAS, she has resigned her position as Commissioner after serving the McHenry
Community for three years in this capacity; and
WHEREAS, she has been instrumental in promoting the creation of additional mid -sized
residential land use classifications; and
WHEREAS, as a member of the Commission she has served the McHenry Community with
commitment, thoroughness, integrity and civic pride.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the McHenry City Council go on record
as recognizing these accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the citizens of
McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be incorporated into the minutes of this
meeting and that a copy be presented to Cherie Rickert.
