ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN
LANDS TO THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, a Petition for Annexation of lands has been pre-
sented to the Circuit Court of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit of McHenry
County, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, as a result of a hearing before the Court concerning
such Petition, an Order approving the form of the Petition and directing
the City Council of the City of McHenry to take action thereon has been
received by the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the said City of McHenry has
considered the area concerned and the contents of the Petition and the
Order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the following des-
cribed property, together with all roads, roadways, streets, alleys and
easements, be and hereby is annexed to and made a part of the City of
McHenry:
Lots 1 through 19 inclusive in Block 1; Lots 1 through
6 inclusive in Block 2; Lots 1 through 9 inclusive in
Block 3; and Lots 1 through 7 inclusive in Block 4; all
in Courtry Club Estates, according to the Plat thereof
recorded October 17, 1956, as Document No. 314307
in Book 12 of Plats at page 91, McHenry County, Illinois.
ALSO:
Lots 20 through 22 inclusive in Block 1; Lots 7 through
12 inclusive in Block 2; Lots 10 through 20 inclusive in
Block 3; Lots 1 through 5 inclusive in Block 5; Lots 1
through 6 inclusive in Block 6; and Lots 1 through 10
inclusive in Block 7; all in Courtry Club Estates Unit
No. 2, according to the Plat thereof recorded July 15,
1958, as Document No. 340720, in Book 13 of Plats at
page 65, in McHenry County, Illinois.
ALSO:
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 8, in Country Club Estates Unit
No. 3, according to the Plat thereof recorded as Docu-
ment No. 454599, in McHenry County, Illinois.

THIS ORDINANCE of annexation shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval, and after the recordation of
this ordinance, together with the plat depicting the premises as des-
cribed herein, and accompanied by the required affidavit in regard to
notice being given to the Trustees of the McHenry Fire Protection
District, and the subsequent filing of a true and correct copy of this
ordinance and plat with the County Clerk of McHenry County, all as by
law provided.
The annexation of these premises is hereby effected upon proper
motion being made, seconded and passed, on this 20th day of April,
1970.
