RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Steven Cuda has successfully concluded two terms as Mayor of the City of
McHenry; and
WHEREAS, he has served his community with pride and implemented various improvements
within the City of McHenry, including Annexation of Property East of the Fox River, Extension of
Sanitary Sewer to properties located east of the Fox River, assistance in providing an East McHenry
Bypass, and the purchase of Petersen Farm Property for the procurement of Open Space and
parklands for the City's residents; and
WHEREAS, he has served the City of McHenry with dedication and provided leadership for
its Council with purpose, devotion, and integrity; and
WHEREAS, he has acted in all matters before the Council with the welfare of the City and
its residents uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, he can look back with pride on his contributions and accomplishments while
serving on the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of McHenry
go on record as recognizing the many contributions and accomplishments of Steven J. Cuda and
expresses its appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into the minutes of this
meeting and that a copy be presented to Steven J. Cuda.
