ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City of McHenry Zoning
Board of Appeals concerning the premises as described on the exhibit
attached to all copies of this Ordinance, and said petition did request
a reclassification of the so described premises from "B-1" Commercial
Retail District to "B-2" Commercial Recreation District, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was had before the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the City of McHenry and testimony was taken thereat and
exhibits presented, and
WHEREAS, after consideration of the evidence and the exhibits,
the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of McHenry did recommend to
the City Council of the City of McHenry that the prayer of the petition be
granted, subject to the use limitations as set forth in the petition and
further subject to an agreement as to the use of a strip of land lying
between the North line of the McHenry Savings and Loan Association
property, the South line of the Gladstone property, the West line of
Green Street, and the East line of the North Suburban Development
Company property.
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
McHenry that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry,
Illinois, be and hereby is amended to effect the classifi-
cation of the premises as described to "B-2" Commercial
Retail District, to permit the Petitioner to erect a motel
upon said premises, including restaurant, cocktail lounge,
swimming pool, and all other recreational facilities
normally associated with such business operation.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.

shall remain open for

which has been purchased
