BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS"
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
,I McHenry, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1: Naming of the Police Chief by Commissioners.

That the Ordinance establishing a Board of
Commissioners, passed and approved on the
15th day of January, 1968, is amended to
provide for the naming of the Chief of Police
by the Police Commission.
Conflicting Ordinance.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, to the extent of such conflict,
are hereby repealed.
Validity.
If any part, or parts, of this ordinance shall
be held invalid for any reason whatsoever,
such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining part, or parts, of this ordinance.
When Effective.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of April, 1969.
