ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN
LANDS TO THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, a Petition for Annexation has been presented to the
City Council of the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, the said Petition has been found to comply with the
requirements pertinent to such annexation as found in the Illinois Revised
Statutes in that the said Petition has been properly executed by all of the
owners of record and all of the electors of record residing on said
property, and said property being contiguous to the present corporate
limits of the City of McHenry;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the following des-
cribed property be, and hereby is, annexed to and made a part of the
City of McHenry:
Lots 12 and 13 in Block 2 in Hay Heights, a Subdivision
of Lots 3 to 8 in Kelter Estate Subdivision Unit No. 2,
a Subdivision of part of the East Half of Section 34,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded May
10, 1955 as Document No. 292394, in Book 12 of Plats,
page 25, in McHenry County, Illinois.
This Ordinance of Annexation shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval, and after the recordation of
this Ordinance, the plat depicting the premises as described herein,
accompanied by the affidavit in regard to notice as being given to the
Trustees of the McHenry Fire Protection District, and the subsequent
filing of a true and correct copy of this Ordinance and plat with the Count)
Clerk of McHenry County, all as by law provided.

The annexation of these premises is hereby effected upon
proper motion being made, seconded and unanimously passed this Znd
day of October, 1967.
