HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-67-34.B - 06/05/1967 - ANNEX DENNIS AND JUDITH RICHr- ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF McHENRY WHEREAS, a Petition for Annexation of certain lands owned by Telegraph Savings and Loan Association, an Illinois corporation, and a portion thereof being occupied for residential purposes by Dennis L. Rich and Judith Rich, these being all of the owners of record and all of the electors of record residing on the said premises, has been presented to the City Council of the City of McHenry, and WHEREAS, said property lies adjacent and contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of McHenry, and WHEREAS, the Petition has been found to be properly exe- cuted and in the proper form as required by the statutes of the State of Illinois in regard to such method of procedure of annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry that the following described premises be and hereby are annexed to and made a part of the corporation of the City of McHenry, Illinois: See legal description attached 'hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and made a part hereof by this reference. BE IT FUR THER ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry that there be and hereby is annexed to the said City of McHenry all that portion of Illinois State Route 120 as it extends Westerly and Northerly from the present City limits of the said City of McHenry, Illinois, to the East line of the East right-of-way line of Draper Road and Ringwood Road. This ordinance of annexation shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the City Council of the City of McHenry; after the recordation of this ordinance and the plat depicting -- the premises as described herein; the required affidavit in regard to LOOZE & KINNE ATTORNEYS 'LM STREET F ILLINOIS - 1 - notice being given to the Trustees of the McHenry Fire Protection Dis- trict, being recorded; and, finally, with the filing of a true and correct copy of this ordinance and plat with the County Clerk of McHenry County, all as by the statutes of the State of Illinois being provided. This annexation is effected upon proper motion being made, seconded and unanimously passed on this 5th day of June, 1967.
