ORDINANCE OF ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, a "Petition to Annex Certain Property to the City of
McHenry" was filed in the Circuit Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of
McHenry County on the 18th day of May, 1966, and
WHEREAS, the hearing before the said Court was had in regard
to the sufficiency and substance of said Petition on the loth day of June,
1966, and
WHEREAS, as a result of said hearing, a final order was entered
by the Circuit Court of the said Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, McHenry
County, Illinois, on the 6th day of September, 1966, directing that the
question of annexation of the territory as described in the Petition should
be submitted to the corporate authority of the City of McHenry for final
action, and
WHEREAS, the question of the annexation of such territory has
been fully presented to the corporate authority of the City of McHenry
and it being deemed the annexation of such territory will be in the public
interest and to the benefit of all of the residents of the now City of
McHenry;
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED that the following described land be, and here-
by is, annexed to and made a part of the municipality of the City of
McHenry by authority of the Order of the Circuit Court of the Nineteenth
Judicial Circuit and the authority of the City Council of the City of
McHenry to annex said premises, all as provided under the revised
statutes of the State of Illinois appertaining thereto:
Lakeland Park, Unit No. 1, being a Subdivision of part of
the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded December
12, 1952, as Document No. 260029 in Book 11 of Plats,
page 64, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Lakeland Park, Unit No. 2, being a Subdivision of part -of
the Northwest Quarter and part of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
recorded December 12, 1952, as Document No. 260030
in Book 11 of Plats, page 66, in McHenry County, Illinois.

Lakeland Park, Unit No. 3, being a Subdivision of part of
the East Half of the East Half of Section 28, Township 45
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the Plat thereof recorded September 8, 1953
in Book 11 of Plats, page 90, as Document No. 269384,
in McHenry County, Illinois.
Lakeland Park, Unit No. 4, being a Subdivision of part of
the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded March
9, 1954, as Document No. 276054 in Book 11 of Plats,
page 102, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Lakeland Shores, Unit No. 1, being a Subdivision of part
of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and part
of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, and part of Lots 24 and 25 of the County Clerk's
Plat of Section 27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
recorded July 18, 1957 as Document No. 325703 in Book
13 of Plats, page 34, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Lakeland Shores, Unit No. 2, being a Subdivision of part
of Section 27, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded
November 21, 1957 as Document No. 331763 in Book 13 of
Plats, page 46, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Block 3 of Lakeland Shores, Unit No. 3, being a Subdivision
of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27,
Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded April 25,
1958, as Document No. 337444 in Book 13 of Plats, page
55, in McHenry County, Illinois, (excepting and reserving
therefrom Lot 19 thereof).
Together with all highways, streets and roadways as located
within the area as being annexed,
A plat of the territory hereby annexed is attached hereto and
a part hereof by this reference.
This Ordinance of Annexation shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval and after the recordation of
this Ordinance, the plat depicting the premises described herein,
accompanied by the affidavit in regard to notice being given to the
Trustees of the McHenry Fire Protection District, the subsequent filing
of a true and correct copy of this Ordinance and plat with the County
Clerk of McHenry County, and after fulfilling any other requirements as
provided in the pertinent statutory sections of the Illinois Revised
Statutes.

The annexation of this territory is hereby effected by proper
motion being made, seconded and unanimously passed on this 5th day
of December, 1966.
