HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-63-30 - 04/15/1963 - ESTABLISH ALDERMEN COMPENSATIONORDINANCE WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the conduct of City affairs that an increase be made in the salaries o: aldermen more commensurate with the time served in attendance at meetings and committee work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the salaries of aldermen to be elected at the next eas uing municipal election, April 16, 1963, be and hereby are established at Fifteen ( $15. 00) Dollars per meeting attended, and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all aldermaniz salaries be and hereby are established in the amount of Eighteen ($18. 00) Dollars a meeting beginniLa on the 1st day of May, 1965. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect --rom and after its passage and approval as by statute provided. So moved by Bolger and seconded by Conway.
