AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
McHenry, Illinois as now in effect, and the zoning maps of the City
of McHenry, Illinois adopted as a part of said Ordinance be and they
are hereby amended as follows:
A. That the zoning classification of the following des-
ribed property be and the same is hereby changed from "R-3" Single
gamily District to "R-4" Multi -Family District:
Lots 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45
(except the North 41 feet of said Lot 45) in the
Third Addition to Cooney Heights, a subdivision in
the City of McHenry according to the Plat thereof
recorded in McHenry County, Illinois.
B. That such reclassification is made with the restriction
that upon all of said property no more than 12 single-family resi-
dential units may be constructed or occupied, and that no unit consist
only of a single room; and that such 12 single-family dwelling units
ay be located in one 12-unit building or two 6-unit buildings or
three 4-unit buildings, or similar combinations.
SECTION 2: That such amendment is made following proper
application having been made therefor before the City of McHenry
Zoning Board of Appeals, with publication of notice of the hearing
thereon, and public hearing held by and before the City of McHenry
Zoning Board of Appeals.

SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
ad effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
