AMENDMENT
OF AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING
STREET NAMES
WHEREAS, certain street names were changed by "AN
ORDINANCE CONCERNING STREET NAMES" as passed and approved by
the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, on the 20th
day of February, A.D. 1961, and
WHEREAS, certain street name changes as expressed
in said Ordinance are incorrectly stated, and
WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of the resident:
of the area concerned that said street names shall be properly
stated,
NOVI, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF
McHENRY, ILLINOIS, that the following amendments shall be
effected in regard to "AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING STREET NAMES"
as passed and approved by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, Illinois, on the 20th day of February, A.D. 1961:
Paragraph 7 thereof shall be deleted in its entirety
and the following inserted in lieu thereof:
7. (a) The name Golf View Avenue shall be deleted
in its entirety and the said street shall be known as
"Golf View Terrace" from a line extending Northeasterly
of the North line of Lot 1 in McHenry Golf Course Subdi-
vision, to a point of intersection with the North line
of Lot 50 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision.
(b) That portion of Golf View Avenue lying
Northerly of the above described line shall be known as
"Golf View Road."
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
