AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry,
and State of Illinois, did on the 17th day of July A.D., 1961, pass the Annual
Appropriation for said City for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1961, the amount
of which is ascertained to be the aggregate sum of Four Hundred Ninety Five
Thousand Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($495.300.00), which said Appropriation
Bill was duly published on the 20th day of July, A.D., 1961, Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry
County, Illinois, that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable property
within the corporate limits of said City for the year 1961, the total sum of
Eighty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Five and 25/100 Dollars ($89,305.25) for the
following specific purposes mentioned in said Appropriation Bill and in the
respective sums as follows, to wit:
