RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Frank McClatchey has concluded one term as Alderman of Ward 3; and
WHEREAS, he has served on and contributed to the Finance and Personnel Committee as
well as serving as Chairman of the Community Development Committee; and
WHEREAS, he has served the Council with purpose, dedication, devotion, and integrity, and
has acted in all matters before the Council with the welfare of the City uppermost in his mind; and
WHEREAS, he can look back on his contributions including creation and implementation
of the City's Tree Preservation Ordinance, development and adoption of the City's Property
Maintenance Code, and Creating an Adult Business Ordinance while serving as Chairman of the
Community Development Committee of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of McHenry
go on record as recognizing the many contributions and accomplishments of Frank McClatchey and
expresses its appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be incorporated into the minutes of this
meeting and that a copy be presented to Frank McClatchey.
