ORDINANCE ANNEXING LANDS
TO THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of
McHenry, and State of Illinois, has been presented with a Petition for
annexation to the City of McHenry, Illinois, by all of the owners of
record of the following described property -
...
Lots 78 and 79 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision,
Fox River Addition, a Subdivision of part of the West
Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township
45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the Plat thereof recorded October 21,
1929, as Document Number 90215, in Book 8 of Plats,
Page 2, in McHenry County, Illinois,
Lots 87 and 88 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision,
Fox River Addition, a Subdivision in the Northeast
Quarter of Section 35 and the Northwest Quarter of
Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in McHenry County, Illinois,
WHEREAS, said owners have signed the said Petition and
complied with all of the requirements of the statutes of the State of
Illinois in regard to such annexation, and
WHEREAS, Chapter Z4 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, The
Cities and Villages Act, in Section 7-6A, provides that any Petition
signed by all of the property owners of record petitioning the City
Council of a city, may have such petition granted by favorable Ordinance
passed by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, Illinois, that the territories described
hereinabove be, and hereby are, included within the
City of McHenry, Illinois.

CERTIFICATION
I, EARL R. WALSH, do hereby certify that I am the City
Clerk of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and that the said City Council
of the City of McHenry has duly passed the attached "Ordinance
Annexing Lands to the City of McHenry, Illinois" at a regular meeting
of the said City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, on the �- rt
day of /\-1 d v- C H , A. D. 19 61, at whi ch me eting the Mayo r and all of
the Aldermen of the City of McHenry were present and voting.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance Annexing Lands to
the City of McHenry, Illinois, was duly signed by the Mayor of the
City of McHenry and all of the Aldermen, as well as by myself as City
Clerk.
I further certify that the attached plat is a true, correct, and
accurate representation of the territory annexed to the City of McHenry
by the attached Ordinance.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance was adopted by
the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, subsequent to the
receipt by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, of a
Petition concerning the said property signed by all of the property
owners of record in said territory so annexed. The Petition was
prepared, signed, and certified in the manner by statute made and
provided under the Statutes of the State of Illinois, Chapter 24, Section
7-6A.
