HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - O-60-23.5 - 05/16/1960 - LOT 29 BL 6 FREUND MILLSTREAM TO BE USED FOR PARKI0-6 d - ?g, 5 May 16, 1960 ,3a, LOOZE & KINNE ATTORNEYS 117 - ELM STREET Mr ILLINOIS 1 1 s-1580 AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry be and hereby is amended as follows: The residential classification of Lot 29 in Block 6 of A. P. Freund's Millstream Park Addition to the City of McHenry remain as R-1 Residential, but that the allowable use of said Lot shall be varied to permit parking in conjunction with the business as conducted on Lot 30 in Block 6 in A. P. Freund's Mill- stream Park Addition to the City of McHenry. Such variation in use shall be subject to the following restrictions and limitations: 1. Lot 29 shall be used for the parking of passenger vehicles or light trucks only, no boat trailers shall be parked thereon. 2. The surface of the parking area on Lot 29 shall be covered with a dust -free coating, such as blacktop, asphalt, or a similar substance. 3. The user of Lot 29 shall install and maintain an evergreen hedge, or fence, of a minimum height of three (3) feet along the North boundary of said lot and along the East line of said Lot, except that a driveway opening to Freund Avenue shall be permitted on the East portion of the said Lot, which driveway shall be not more than twenty (20) feet in width and shall commence at the North side of the city easement and extend twenty (20) feet Northerly therefrom. Any abandonment of such parking use by the present owner, his heirs or assigns, shall cause this property to revert to a strict R-1 Residential usage and no other variation of any other type shall be permitted thereon Itthou fu ther hearing. 7 City Cleft Mayo L a 3 C d Voting Aye: Bolger, Bm amic Conway, Holly, Pitzen and Thennes.
