AFFECTING PLATS AND SUBDIVISIONS 0_S/ —
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the citizens
of the City of McHenry, particularly in regards to public health, to
provide requirements for sewer and water connections in all future
subdivisions to be developed within the corporate limits of the City of
McHenry, and
WHEREAS, certain extensive plans are now underway to
provide for better and more widespread sewerage and water facilities
within the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests in public
health and welfare that all future subdivision developments utilize public
water and sewerage facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry,
Illinois, that any approval heretofore given and executed through the
proper corporate authorities of the City of McHenry to a proposed plat
of subdivision, which plats have not been placed of public record as by
statute: made and provided, be and hereby is rescinded as to all such
plats which have been so approved and not placed of record. This
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the 21st day
of August, 1959.
