ORDINANCE ANNEXING _-__3S
TO THE CITY OF

WHEREAS, the City Council r- the City of McHenry,
County of McHenry, and State of Illir::==, has been presented
with a Petition for Annexation to the =_,y of McHenry, Illinois,
by all of the owners of record and a__ _= the electors residing
in the following described property:

That part of the East half .= the South West
quarter of the South West n-_rter of Section

Range eight , East of t._ Third Principal
Meridian, lying East of th- = ghway known as (U.S.
No. 12) (excepting therefr�= .he North five (5) acres
thereof described in a ce;- _n deed given by Edwin
V. Knox and wife to Otto L:=: .ke and wife, dated
April 28, 1930 and recorde: book 184 of Deeds,
page 401, McHenry Records, _-. McHENRY COUNTY,
ILLINOIS,
WHEREAS, the said owners electors have executed
the said Petition as such owners and-_=ztors, and have complied
with all of the requirements of the -_tutes of the State of
Illinois, as revised and amended, in _-:ard to such annexation,
and
WHEREAS, under the provisi:-= of Chapter 24, Section
7-6A, of the Illinois Revised Statute. -s amended, provides that
such Petition duly presented and exec---,----' by all of the property
owners and all of the electors of an _ may be acted upon and
the said territory annexed by action -he City Council in pass-
ing an Ordinance accomplishing same,
WHEREAS, it is deemed by t== --ity Council of the City
of McHenry, Illinois, to be in the be_- interests of the public

NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of McHenry, Illinois, that the lands
and territories described as follows:
That part of the East half of the South West
quarter of the South West quarter of Section
35, Township 45 North, Range 8, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, lying East of the
Highway known as (U.S. No. 12) (excepting
therefrom the North five (5) acres thereof
described in a certain deed given by Edwin
V. Knox and wife to Otto Luedtke and wife,
dated April 28, 1930 and recorded in book 184
of Deeds, page 401, McHenry Records) in
McHenry County, Illinois,
be and hereby are included within the corporate limits of
the City of McHenry, Illinois, said lands being unsubdivided
and to 'be classified under the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of McHenry, Illinois as "R-l" residential district.

CERTIFICATION
I, EARL R. WALSH, do hereby certify that I am the City
Clerk of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and that the said City Council
of the City of McHenry has duly passed the attached "Ordinance
Annexing Lands to the City of McHenry, Illinois" at a regular meeting
of the said City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, on the 19th
day of October, A. D. 1959, at which meeting the Mayor and a quorum o
Aldermen of the City of McHenry were present and voting.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance annexing lands to
the City of McHenry, Illinois, was duly signed by the Mayor of the

City of McHenry and all of the Aldermep as we 1 as by myself as
City Clerk.
I further certify that the attached plat is a true, correct, and
accurate representation of the territory annexed to the City of McHenry
by the attached Ordinance.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance was adopted by
the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, subsequent to the
receipt by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, of a
petition concerning the said property signed by all of the property
owners of record in said territory so annexed. The petition was pre-
pared, signed, and certified in the manner by statute made and provided
under the statutes of the State of Illinois, Chapter 24, Section 7-6A.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have set my hand and caused to be
