DEPOSITS,IN REGARD TO WATER SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED by the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY,
ILLINOIS,
that paragraph 536, Deposits) of Article 1 of
Chapter 20 of the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry,
1939, and as subsequently amended, be amended by the addition
thereto of the following:
536. Deposits)
a. A deposit of Twenty ($20.00) Dollars shall
be: made to the City Clerk upon the initiation of
service to any property which is occupied by a
tenant, or any person or persons not a title holder
of: record of such property served. When occupancy
of: the premises by the tenant or other non -owner,
shall be discontinued permanently by their removal,
this deposit, less any amount remaining due at the
time of discontinuance of service to the City for
water supplied, shall be refunded without interest.
THIS ORDINANCE shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.

McHenry, Illinois.
