ORDINANCE ANNEXING LANDS
TO THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry, County
of McHenry, and State of Illinois, has been presented with a Petition
for Annexation to the City of McHenry, Illinois, by all of the owners of
record and all of the electors residing in the following described
prope city:
FT 81
12, 13, 14, 17,
Lots 9, 10, l l,/ 18, 19, 20, 33, 34, 35 and 36
in Owen, Stenger and Allen's First Addition to
the City of McHenry, being a Subdivision of the
North Half of the Fractional Sections of 35 and
36 in Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian lying West of the Fox
River, the Plat of said Subdivision being recorded
as Document No. 54652 in Book 4 of Plats at
Page 54. Lots 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112,
113, 114, 115 and 116 of McHenry Golf Course
Subdivision, Fox River Addition, being a Sub-
division of part of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 35 and the Northwest Quarter of Section
36 in Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, recorded as Document
No. 90215 in Book 8 of Plats at Page 2.
WHEREAS, the said owners, and electors have executed the
said Petition as such owners and electors, and have complied with all
of the requirements of the Statutes of the State of Illinois, as revised
and amended, in regard to such annexation, and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Chapter 24, Section 7-6A,
of the Illinois Revised Statutes, as amended, provides that such Petition
duly presented and executed by all of the property owners and all of the
electors of an area may be acted upon and the said territory annexed
by action of the City Council in passing an Ordinance accomplishing
same, and

WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, Illinois, to be in the best interests of the public welfare of
the inhabitants of the said City and the area as described, to effect
such annexation as petitioned;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of McHenry, Illinois, that the lands, lots,
territories, and the streets as embraced thereby,
described hereinabove, be, and hereby are, in-
cluded within the corporate limits of the City of
McHenry, Illinois.

CERTIFICATION
I, EARL R. WALSH, do hereby certify that I am the
City Clerk of the City of McHenry, Illinois, and that the said City
Council of the City of McHenry has duly passed the attached "Ordinance
annexing lands to the City of McHenry, Illinois" at a regular meeting
of the said City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, on the 1st
day of ;fund, A. D. 1959, at which meeting the Mayor and all of the
Aldermen of the City of McHenry were present and voting.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance annexing
lands to the City of McHenry, Illinois, was duly signed by the Mayor
of the City of McHenry and all of the Aldermen, as well as by myself
as City Clerk.
I further certify that the attached plat is a true, correct,
and accurate representation of the territory annexed to the City of
McHenry by the attached Ordinance.
I further certify that the attached Ordinance was
adopted by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, subsequent
to the receipt by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, of a
petition concerning the said property signed by all of the property
owners of record in said territory so annexed. The petition was pre-
pared, signed, and certified in the manner by statute made and pro-
vided under the statutes of the State of Illinois, Chapter 24, Section 7-
6A.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have set my hand and caused
to be affixed the seal of the City of McHenry, Illinois, this 2nd day
of June, A. D. 1959.
